Yeah, well this one will make things simple. If this is true, and he's really that much of a mercurial idiot, its enough. I will absolutely be out of here, and relieved in away that the moron made it so easy and clear.

Home grown superstar, insanely loyal to the poopootiest little market in the NBA, or so players think, finally gets a coach after the same idiot owner fired the only other one he had for winning too much the wrong way...hardworking team, chance...what am I detailing this for. I will be done. And he can **** himself and enjoy the sad little tatters of what was once a great fanbase.

Being a fan is very frustrating. There is never a clear cut direction. Things are said, by our FO, then stuff like this comes out. IF it is true and happens, it makes it hard to follow this franchise. For some reason this rumor--and article--makes me nervous a stupid trade is on the horizon. There is a lot of smoke from people who normally don't take these rumors seriously

I will be gone too. Wanting to trade him is bad enough, but if what we get back is influenced by his hard-on for Buddy Hield... thats the straw that will break it.

Return is almost irrelevant barring a major star back. And really even then.

Only a moron trades a star who wants to be in Sac, because odds are the next one, 5 years down the road, 10 years down the road, whenever you guys stumble into one again, won't. After what will be a good 15-20 years of straight losing, why would they? I wouldn't even let you draft him if I were an agent. you could go work out a chair as far as I was concerned, and my client would start his career in Europe until you relented.

It's all just a mistake. Prob went something like this through text...

Woj: any news on a cousins trade?
    Source: there is NO trade
Woj: there's a N.O. Trade?!?!? I gotta be the first to report it! "Sources state sac is discussing a trade for cousins with N.O. The New Orleans pelicans."

Get better glasses Woj or enlarge your font

    Somebody deleting posts...

Cousins has two minutes at half and everyone else has more, is Kerr pulling him for bad play or more significant reason that has to do with this thread?

I still think there is an agreement in place :)

Oh, trust me i pretty much agree. It's just that trading him wouldn't push me away completely if they legitimately thought it would be the best thing for the franchise. Don't get me wrong, I would despise the move and never really accept it and gripe about it constantly, but it's not quite enough to push me away.

Trading away the franchise centerpiece for a guy that the owner just likes because Boogie said mean things about the Warriors, then that shows Vivek will never have his priorities straight as an owner. I wouldn't be more disgusted with him. If that happens, he is literally putting the hurt feelings of himself and the Bay Area over everything.

Yeah, I will be done too if we trade Cousins. Following the team through thick and thin over the years and for them to **** it up again, just as they started correcting their last **** up when the fired Malone, it will be the straw that breaks the camels back with me.

Never trust anything Woj RE:Kings, Were on his S**t list ever since we got rid of whoever PDA had leaking him info and Woj basically got shunned by our current FO.

Woj attacks anyone who doesnt surrender him the info he wants, he uses that as blackmail, see his overly dramatic articles about Lebron and J. Kidd and many others.

Ever since we got rid of the weasel Woj has done nothing but try to embarass Vivek and Vlade.

This is all just another power move by Woj and its going to continue and make waves because people follow his word religiously.

Wpj did this because of what Cousins said at the all star interview, a chance to embarass us and Cuz and make us look like complete tools for leading Cousins on. What player would want to come to place that does that to a star player.

Bet the house that Cousins goes no where.

If anything, I trust Jason Jones on these topics more than any national media guy and I think he's more informed than any local guy and that includes dorky James Ham. Jason Jones, from what I've seen on his twitter, not really interested in click bait.

If the Kings trade Boogie it will be really easy to walk away and let this ****show of a franchise and watch it burn. I so hope there's no fire to this smoke.... but I still have the nervous feeling chewing on me. It's gonna be a long couple of days until that deadline.

    Just. Don't. Do. Anything. Stupid.

Sounds like Cousins needs a no trade clause in his extension...

I've been a Kings fan for far too long to give up now. If they traded DeMarcus, I'd be FURIOUS. But to give up now would be a waste of years following the team.

Either way, the drama of this will further drag down the teams reputation when a part of the fanbase just wants stuff to settle and the teams reputation to get back on track

I guess if Vivek squints really REALLY hard, he can see Steph and, er.... Dray?

Or maybe he wants a chance to draft that Ball kid. He'll be like Steph for sure!

The Lakers can't trade a first-round pick until 2021. The way things look right now, I can't imagine the underwhelming trio of Ingram/Russell/Randle approaching Cousins' value. The Lakers make zero sense as a trade partner.

It is absolutely well known. Its not even like this is breaking insight. Everyone knows how he does what he does, and how that explains the rest of his work. Its a choice. It has given him access beyond any other basketball reporter. But you simply cannot trust where the stuff he comes up with comes from. Woj doesn't often have a columnist's personality or likes or dislikes (beyond punishing his enemies/probably those people who told him to get bent), he just sells his column to the highest bidder. You want me to hit this guy for you in return for a scoop? Fine. Tomorrow you want me to laud him? Fine. That's hardly a revelation. But like I say, in return, he gets the first call when something is about to go down. Win win for everybody.

I still think there is an agreement here

But the only on court reason I can come up with is the perimeter stuff is mainly Cousins idea, and maybe they think it's a trait that either won't improve or doesn't dominate a la what Bruski has been talking about.. I don't really agree

Huh what lol. I think Woj has a decent to good track record of accuracy and I have been playing fairly close attention over the years. He's not 100% but more accurate and respected than his peers I would say. I think the Pelicans offered a package to the Kings for Boogie and it was underwhelming and Vlade said "no". I think that's it but that doesn't discount the idea that Vivek would not be absolute in his commitment to Boogie. After all, like I said we are not in the Top 8 in the West presently, we are 9 games under .500 presently, and the next technical foul Boogie gets will cost him a game. So to shell out $220M under these circumstances is not a no-brainer. There has to be a pause relative to other options. That is only sensible.
